Why choose pressure-mounted baby safety gates?

• Pressure mounted gates these days are super popular as they are secure, well manufactured, and there is no need for drilling. 
• The important thing is to use the mounting cups provided:
• The gates come with 4 ‘mounting cups’ and strong double sided tape, these cups go between the wall and the pressure spindles/tension knobs.

• Once the gate is up, and these side spindles/tension knobs have been tightened into the cups, the cups with the double-sided tape will keep the gate secure and in place.
• Be sure to leave the double sided tape to set for at least 24 hours before tugging and putting unnecessary pressure on the gate.

To support and stop extra wide gates (with extensions) from budging when tugged on, specifically when installed on tiled or laminate floors, I use foam sealant tape available in the shop section here.

• I use glow in the dark tape as a general “heads up” at night time.
