How to place an order on the Baby Proof Website

You can create an account at any time by clicking on the My Account tab OR on CHECKOUT after adding items to your basket. You do not need to create an account for the website to function properly or to add items to your basket.  Refer to below:

1. 1. Select the products you would like to add to your cart.
   2. When you are ready to CHECKOUT, you can click on the notification that says “VIEW BASKET” OR on the basket icon at the top.
      This will direct you to your shopping cart.
   3. Double check the quantities and if there are any changes, make the changes and click on ‘UPDATE CART.’  If there are no changes, continue to the next step.
   4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Proceed to Checkout’
   5. You will be redirected to the checkout page.
   6. If you have shopped online with us before, simply click on the link where its says:
      Returning customer? Click here to login.  Login using your email and password. All your details would have been saved from your previous order.
   7. If it is your first time ordering, you need to complete all fields where its says BILLING ADDRESS so we know where to send you order.
      VERY IMPORTANT:
      ***By default the SHIPPING ADDRESS “Deliver to a different address?” is selected. 
      You can UNCHECK this box, by clicking on the box itself, if your SHIPPING ADDRESS is the same as the details you have entered already for the BILLING ADDRESS. Then you don’t have to re-enter the all the details again.
   8. Once completed, select a payment method.
   9. Once your payment method has been selected, remember to TICK THE BOX that confirms
      ” I have read and agree to the website terms and conditions “
   10. Click on ‘PLACE ORDER” and follow the prompts provided by the payment portal selected.
   11. Have your phone nearby, you will need it for the OTP to verify the payment via your banking App.
   12. If the payment is successful, you will get an automated order confirmation email.
   13. Your account information, Invoice and order updates will be sent to the email address you have entered.
   14. Kindly refer to all policies related to online shopping in the footer section of this page, including shipping and privacy policies.
   15. Shipped and at your door in 1-2 working days! Courier Fees Apply from R75 (JHB/Midrand/PTA) – Other regions in South Africa vary.  Maximum of 5 working days to outlying areas.
