Why choose pressure-mounted baby safety gates?
- Pressure mounted gates these days are super popular as they are secure, well manufactured, and there is no need for drilling.
- The important thing is to use the mounting cups provided:
- The gates come with 4 ‘mounting cups’ and strong double sided tape, these cups go between the wall and the pressure spindles/tension knobs.
- Once the gate is up, and these side spindles/tension knobs have been tightened into the cups, the cups with the double-sided tape will keep the gate secure and in place.
- Be sure to leave the double sided tape to set for at least 24 hours before tugging and putting unnecessary pressure on the gate.

To support and stop extra wide gates (with extensions) from budging when tugged on, specifically when installed on tiled or laminate floors, I use foam sealant tape available in the shop section here.

- WARNING! The horizontal bar found at the bottom of ALL pressure-mounted gates can be a tripping hazard.
- I use glow in the dark tape as a general “heads up” at night time.

I love the features of this gate and how easy it was to install in less than 10 minutes. Hands down the best gate out there double locking feature, easy open push, great for stairways and very sturdy, durable materials so baby/pets don’t push it down. I have two kids and a large dog so this works very well for my family and if you wish you can leave it open for walk through also. Highly recommend to other families or pet owners.

It’s great for keeping kids plus pets out of certain rooms. It opens very nicely. Fits in most doorways, but I also heard you can buy extensions. Great material, it has a swing and close feature. One handed operation for adults. Lower latch for extra security. I would highly recommend this to anyone I know.
