Gas Heater Child Pet Protection Screen
Our Gas Heater Child Pet Protection Screen is the 1st of its kind. Designed specifically with the safety of your child or pet in mind.
- Prevents children and pets from getting into direct contact with the gas flame that can set clothes and fur ablaze, resulting in significant burns.
- The screen gets hot to the touch, but not flaming hot. The mesh absorbs 40% of the heat, painted with a heat-resistant, protective coating.
- Disclaimer: To prevent the screen from getting extremely hot over prolonged periods of time, keep the gas heater on 2 bars and check the screen regularly to ensure your toddler doesn’t incur any unnecessary burns.
- Complete with 2 x 10cm secure hooks that attach to the front of the Gas Heater.

Gas Heater Child Pet Protection Screen Product Features:
- Unfortunately the attachment hooks cannot be made longer, making them longer will destabilize the screen (making it easy for a toddler to move.)
- Easy to install, simply hook onto the front grid of your Gas heater.
- Solid 90° side panels.

INSTALLATION TIPS:
- Attach the attachment hooks to the front of the gas heater screen. Refer to image below:

- Tip: To secure the screen in place so it doesn’t move, purchase Pratley Steel Quickset Putty STEEL and apply this to the area where the hooks meet the protection screen so that the hooks don’t move when pushed on.
- We cannot weld these in place as we need to accommodate different Gas Heater Models, the front grids are all different.
Here is another tip to prevent the screen from moving when pushed on:
- Purchase these Interlocking Pvc Rubber Floor Tile (4 Tiles) to place under the Gas Heater and the Screen, this provides a somewhat non-slip surface.
- If the gas heater (with wheels) and screen still seem unstable. Stick down our self-adhesive foam strip tape available in a 1m | 5m and 10m length options.
- Stick this down on either side of the screen on the floor tile.
- Just two short strips on both corners on the floor will be enough. To remove this tape off the tiles later, kindly follow these Instructions.
- It is advisable to also stick two short strips of the foam under the wheels of the gas heater screen at the back.

Our Fireplace Child Pet Protection Screens are designed specifically with the safety of your child or pet in mind.
KINDLY NOTE: We do not manufacture custom sized fire screens
- HARDWARE MOUNTED: Wall mounting attachments are included to ensure the screen can’t be pulled over.
- All fire screens have a standard height of 80cm. Height with top handle: 85cm.
- 9 Sizes are available for you to select from.
- Manufactured from heavy steel. The steel will eventually get hot to the touch but not burning hot that will allow your child/pet to get hurt.

- Our self-adhesive foam strip is a very useful product used to support extra wide barrier gates on the floor, on either side, so they don’t shift when tugged on.
- To lift/support baby safety gates above the lip found at the bottom of banister poles, so it doesn’t hang in mid-air once pressure mounted.
- To lift/support baby safety gates above the quarter round found at the bottom of some floor skirtings.
