The Safety 1st U-Pressure Fit Auto-close Doorway Gate uses a 4-point pressure fit for easy installation requiring no drilling to install.

• Suitable from 6 months to around 3 years.
• Auto-close feature:  A magnetic latch ensures the gate swings closed and locks automatically
• Convenient, tools-free design for a quick and easy pressure mounted installation.
• One-hand dual-action open.
• Additional swing lock at the bottom for maximum security
• Adjusts to fit openings from 73 cm to 80 cm
• Gate Height: 73cm
• Extends up to 136 cm with extensions (7cm, 14cm & 28cm) and can be purchased separately.
• WARNING! Only one extension is permitted per side.
• Pressure mounted with tension knobs (No drilling required). The gates come with 4 ‘mounting cups’ and strong double-sided tape, these cups go between the wall and the pressure spindles/tension knobs.

• Strong steel frame with four-point pressure fit
• Available in white only
• Y-spindle banister adapters are available and can be purchased separately. This is important when there are banisters present. Banisters must be very secure before attempting to install this gate.

Top Dual Lock and Optional Bottom Lock Feature

Important before purchasing any gate:

• Take accurate measurements.
• Remember to take the skirting into account.
• The maximum adjustable size of the gate includes the tension knobs on the sides used to pressure mount the gate.

Extra precautions to consider:

1. Additional support for gates on the floor

Supporting extra wide gates that have extensions on the floor (on either side) so they don’t shift is important. To do this, I use foam sealant tape available in the shop section here available per meter or in 10m rolls.

2. Glow in the Dark Tape for Stairs and Baby Gates
