Perma Retractable Baby Pet Safety Gate
The Perma Retractable Baby Pet Safety Gate extends up to 140cm. Height: 80cm. Manufactured with protective UV-Resistant mesh.
- Gate can only be hardware mounted (Drilled into the wall) and one must follow the installation instructions to a point.
- When installing you need to make sure it is installed as low as possible, so the babies/toddlers don’t crawl underneath. If there is a skirting there are spacers supplied for the top so you can install it low on the skirting and use spacers on the wall to fill the gap so that the brackets are aligned.
- It is not as easy to open and close as the pressure mounted gates, so in high traffic areas it might be a pain.
- Not suitable for small pets as they can easily manoevre themselves through the bottom

The Perma Retractable Baby Pet Safety Gate has no base bar, providing a clear pathway for stairs.
What if there is a Skirting at the bottom?
Product comes with wall spacer shimms used to make up the space between the top mounting bracket and the wall, relative to the bottom mounting bracket and the skirting so that the gate is straight and installed correctly. Refer to image below:

As stated this gate is the highest quality from Perma Child Safety. It can be used outside or inside to protect the little ones or pets. Gate packaged very well. Was delivered within 24 hours. Easy to install. Best feature is that the manufacturer included extra ‘wall spacers’ so that the top of the gate is in line with the skirting. Spring loaded screen is very strong. The gate itself attaches securely to the wall, so does not affect a railing. I am very happy and yes I do recommend this gate.

Great product for our little busy body! Works well for our 130cm hallway. You have to read directions carefully. For it to go as far as 130cm must twist the knob, let go of the button then pull the gate all the way to the closed position. You do NOT have to hold the knob and pull at the same time… Twist the knob, let go and then pull all the way to close. Its kind of like a seat belt if you stop it won’t go any further and you will have to return the knob and try again.

These gates work wonders in my house to keep our fur children out of rooms they are not allowed in when no one is home, the bonus is, its super easy to be able travel back and forth between rooms when we are home!
