Baby Proof Foam Edge and Corner Guard Installation Instructions:
You will need:
- Methylated Spirits or rubbing alcohol to clean area where the tape will be installed.
- A cloth to clean the area
(Kindly read through before starting)
- Ensure your child is being supervised by an informed caregiver.
- Before sticking the product down, make sure you are happy with the placement. Repositioning it later will cause the adhesion to weaken. (Refer to below image for correct placement)
- Clean area with methylated spirits, ensuring the area is completely dry before you apply the product.
- Start removing the film from the sticky side of the foam sealant tape and place it on the edge in a straight line. Do not remove it all, remove as you go.
- Leave to set for at least 48 hours before tugging at it to allow the adhesive to dry, rubbing it down as you pass it each time.
- Make sure you clean up afterwards, discarding of any packaging.
- Store the methylated spirits out of reach, or in a child proofed cabinet.
